Popeyes has been most known for its fried chicken sandwich since 2019, but the Restaurant Brands International (QSR)-owned company has another viral dish that draws crowds and excitement every time it returns as an LTO.

In a press statement, Popeyes head chef and VP of culinary innovation Amy Alarcon, known as "the mother of the chicken sandwich," stated her team spent three years perfecting this.

Popeyes said it would be "placing billboards near competitor restaurants, prompting consumers to reconsider their current wing choices and upgrade to Popeyes."
