It's easy to get caught up in caring only about oneself when interacting with others.
1. Have a calming influence.
Much of our sense of confidence is developed in moments when we needn’t perform.
2. Quit habits that bring you shame.
Most people are not present in conversations.
3. Listen beyond the words.
There is no suspense. We can't be really attracted to you if we know everything there is to know about you. Exude mystique.
4. Reveal less about you.
Even if you're physically and emotionally close to someone, your apprehensive energy probably won't come across as friendly.
5. Open up physically.

Lightly smiling will make you more appealing without making you look like a monkey who's had too many bananas.
6. Soften your face.
It's contradictory, yet it's true that influential people often elevate the status of those around them.
7. Make others look important.
When I'm anxious or have just had coffee, I can become a nervous wreck. Many people's natural mode of communication is rapid speech and choppy motion.
8. Slow your movements.
Most people jabber on about themselves and their problems.
9. Ask a question few others ask.
You show your superior social standing by distancing yourself from the situation. Take the focus off of such gloom and back to brighter, more positive topics.
10. Ignore complaining, drama and disrespect.
