New engines redesigned cars

AC Ace

The 1953 AC Ace roadster has a 2.6-liter Ford straight-six engine. Carroll Shelby (1923-2012) in Texas thought it would be better with more power

Alpine A110

The Renault Cléon-Fonte engine powered the original A110, not the 2017 model. The Renault 16's bigger Cléon-Alu replaced this.

Audi A4

Audi has experience here. Most of its models have powerful S and RS variants. Example: A4. RS 4s have always had great engines.

Audi Q7

Audi's 5.9-liter diesel V12-powered Q7 was an unexpectedly powerful beast. The Q7's 493bhp engine, which has never been utilized in a production car, accelerated from 0 to 62mph in 5.5 seconds.

BMW M3

Every M3 has a separate engine from the BMW 3-Series. The 4.0-liter (and 4.4-liter for the GTS variant) S65 V8 powered the 2007–2013 generation.

Cadillac CT6

Most CT6s were full-size luxury sedans. The CT6-V's Blackwing 550 horsepower 4.2-liter V8 engine made it a powerful performer. CT6 Platinum had 500 horsepower.

Chevrolet Corvette

It's surprising that the 1953 Corvette with a straight-six engine didn't sell well since it's one of the most popular sports cars ever.

Dodge Challenger

The third Challenger in nearly 50 years has been sold in numerous shocking configurations with massive power outputs. Even so, the 2018-only SRT Demon is impressive.

Fiat 500

Four-cylinder gasoline engines powered the 500. Fiat introduced the two-cylinder TwinAir three years after its 2007 introduction, the first engine designed from the outset to employ MultiAir technology.

Ford Cortina

Most first-generation Cortinas had 1.2- or 1.5-liter pre-crossflow Ford Kent engines. After a year of production, the Lotus Cortina was born.
