On Wednesday, USC Hosts California To Start Three-Game Homestand

USC (6-7, 0-2) will host the Cal Golden Bears (4-9, 0-2) at the Galen Center on Jan. 3 at 7:00 p.m.  On Pac-12 Network, J.B. Long and Don MacLean will call the game. 

USC lost its opening two conference games for the first time since 2015 and its first three Pac-12 games since 2014, when it started 0-5 in league play. 

USC is under.500 after 13 games for the first time since 2013's 5-8 start. USC's first home game since Dec. 10 vs. Long Beach and only two since Nov. 20 (versus. EWU on Nov. 29).

USC has played its last four road games: Auburn on Dec. 17 (L), Alabama State on Dec. 19 (W), Oregon on Dec. 28 (L), and Oregon State on Dec. 30.  

It marked the first time USC played four straight road games since 2002. USC just finished 7 of 9 games away from the Galen Center at the Rady Children's Invitational in San Diego. 

USC also played only five home games in its first 13 games for the first time since 2005. The only Power 6 teams with only 5 home games this season are USC, ASU, and Villanova.  

Face California On December 31, the California Golden Bears (4-9, 0-2) lost 71-69 at home to Arizona State.  Jaylon Tyson leads Cal in scoring at 19.7 points per game.  

Stanford won 100-82 at home over Arizona on Dec. 31 with a school-record 16 three-pointers.  Cardinal forward Maxime Raynaud leads in scoring (14.4 ppg) and rebounds (9.4 rpg).
